The term of the existing SF&OC Athletes Committee will be concluded in December 2022. The Federation is inviting NSAs to nominate one appropriate athlete each in their respective sport to fill the following vacancies on the Athletes Committee for the term 2022 to 2026:
– three athletes in Olympic Games sports; and
– two athletes in Asian Games sports (excluding Olympic Games sports).

Nominees should have participated in at least one of the last three editions of the Olympic Games (i.e. 2012, 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics and 2014, 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics) or Asian Games (i.e. 2010, 2014 and 2018 Asian Summer Games and 2007, 2011 and 2017 Asian Winter Games).

The nomination period will last from 13 to 26 September 2022. If you meet the above criteria and are interested in serving on the SF&OC Athletes Committee, please approach your NSA to seek nomination.

If the number of nominations exceeds the number of vacancies in either category (i.e. Olympic Games sports or Asian Games sports), an election will be organized in October 2022. Only athletes who have pre-registered as voters in their respective categories shall be allowed to vote.
